Sursly Font: Up For Grabs
The font that my site (not blog, yet) uses is called Blackout. I was tired of filling in all the open spaces of some of my favorite sans fonts. I also hadn’t made a font in quite some time…so I created it from scratch.While it is still a work/experiment-in-progress (as is sursly.com) I’d like to offer it up for usability testing (fun!). I’ve only ever made my pixel fonts public, so this is a new endeavor for me. All you have to do is leave a comment here and introduce yourself. Easy enough, right?
2 Flavors
I also wanted to spend less time reversing out the font, so I have a positive and negative of each character.
The first is called “Midnight“:
The second is called “2AM“:
Enjoy A-Z, 0-9 and an assortment of odds and ends (, . ! etc…). I’ll email you the font to the address you provide in the comment (not public), and I’d love to see what you use it for. Thx.

I think your font is sexy and there’s a thing or two I’d like to do with it. Tell me, is the designer as appealing? Cause I could think of a thing or two to do with him too.

I’d love to get my hands on this font set! I love this style of typeface. Reminds me of the Relient K logo (www.relientk.com)

Hi Man. I stumbled upon your website. Interesting visuals. Very original usage of horizontal scrolling. Only for people with high bandwith though ;) I’d love to have a copy of the font’s, see what I can do with ‘em.

I got the tip to view your site from Van Eldik Studios in the Netherlands and i must say, your design and enthousiasm is very motivating. I’m a regular visitor.

I’m thinking that if crack is as alluring and addictive as type, I should probably continue to avoid it. From one typofile to another, thanks. I can’t wait to use them. Props from the O-to-the-K. (That means Oklahoma. But it was way cooler when I said it like that. Plus I used “props.” Bonus.)
